The IDSP series oil-free scroll vacuum pump is a new dry vacuum pump developed by SUPERQ VACUUM. It features:

  • Small gap, low leakage, high compression ratio, and stable pumping speed across a wide pressure range.
  • Symmetrical working cavity formed by fixed and orbiting scrolls, simple structure, few parts, low vibration noise, and high reliability.
  • Wide working pressure range, with little change in driving torque and small power variation due to continuous compression volume change.
  • Oil-free operation allows it to remove condensable gases without polluting the chamber.
  • Compression chamber made of anodized aluminum and PTFE, not suitable for pumping corrosive gases, especially strong acid/alkaline ones (can be used for common organic solvents).
It’s widely used in medical equipment, electronics, semiconductors, medicine, vacuum packaging, solar energy, vacuum drying filtration, scientific research, laboratory equipment, vacuum fixation, vacuum degassing, vacuum forming, vacuum leak detection, electron accelerators, vacuum coating, and recycling equipment.

Operation Environment Requirements

  • Don’t install or expose the pump to wet conditions (rain or steam), as moisture on the power connector may cause short circuits or electric shocks.
  • Avoid areas with flammable, explosive gases or other hazards, as pump start/stop may cause fires or explosions.
  • Operate within 5-40 ℃ ambient temperature; otherwise, the pump may malfunction or be damaged.
  • Don’t install in dusty or corrosive gas environments, as long-term operation there may reduce service life or damage the pump.
  • Ensure good ventilation in the installation area.

Operation

  • Before starting, check all connections for proper sealing to avoid affecting the pumping rate.
  • For the first start or after long inactivity, run the pump with open inlet and outlet ports for 5 minutes to remove residual water vapor in the compression chamber for better vacuum.
  • Close the isolation valve between the pump and chamber to prevent suck-back.

Electrical Control

  • Uses standard MODBUS RTU communication protocol. Communication parameters can be adjusted via the keyboard, defaulting to 8N1 verification, 9600 baud rate, and ending with CRC16 checksum.
  • PA1: Signal output (LCP)
  • PA2: Signal input (External). The start-up switch is for local start only and stays off during remote control.
